COOKIE DOUGH DESSERT PIZZA

Pizza and dessert: Two of the finer things in life. I think most would agree. So I thought, why not combine them and make them into a SUPER food?! Not in the same sense that the word gets tossed around these days. Although now that we are on the subject, this dessert pizza is low in sugar and made with the cleanest of ingredients: brain healthy fats & antioxidants (from the chocolate) so dare I say this pizza is a superfood? I dare.

The star of the show is the crust. I made it with my favorite Hail Merry Bites, so run to your nearest whole foods and snag a bag (or 5) so you can make this healthified dessert!

COOKIE DOUGH DESSERT PIZZA

 Yields 4-6 slices

Ingredients:

8-10 Hail Merry Bites – I used Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, but you can use any flavor you like!

1/2 cup (roughly) unsweetened vanilla coconut yogurt – I used So Delicious

Organic Berries

Almond Butter (to drizzle) I used Jem

Directions:

  1. Flatten your Merry Bites on a flat plate, and shape into a round pizza shape.
  2. Put the pizza “crust” in the freezer for about 15-20 mins to let it harden.
  3. Spread coconut yogurt over the crust
  4. Top with toppings of your choosing! I used organic berries & an almond butter drizzle.
  5. Slice & serve cold!
